kittens.

remember how i became a foster mother back in may to little kittens whose mother was killed? well, today was my last day raising the kitties as they're old enough to be adopted by a permanent family, so i'm a little lonely, a whole lot sad, and even more heart-broken. i knew that the day would come when miss kitty and monsieur kitty would have to leave, but i didn't want to think about it becuase i love them so much, and they added so much silliness to my days. i know someone will love them and care for them, but i can't help thinking that no one could possibly love them as much as i do. anyway, i know i shared this video a while back, but it still makes me smile every time!

our new babies

No, we aren't parents to human babies; I just wanted to clear that up before the thought even entered your mind! Also, I know that not everyone is gaga over animals, so I promise I don't plan to continue doing nothing but cute animals posts, it's just that they seem to have found me a lot lately. So, we're new parents to four little kittens. They were in the top of a barn, and after hearing crying all morning long, Chris finally decided to go see what it was coming from. He found four little kittens, but didn't realize until later that afternoon that their mother had been hit by a car. I'll admit, I'm more of a bird or dog person than I am a cat person, but you can't help loving something so cute!

I tried my best to get some pictures of them, but it proved to be incredibly difficult since they won't hold still! Having never raised kittens before, I did research pretty much all weekend long to determine their age. I've come to the conclusion that they are less than two weeks old, which means lots of feeding and little sleep on my end. It's so worth it, because when their little ears start fluttering and they start purring after a full belly, I know they're happy. The orange one is my favorite. He (or she, it's too early to tell) is the most voracious eater, and once his belly is full, he falls asleep in my arms.

Aside from being a kitten mom, I really haven't done much this weekend. I sort of thought about swimming a few times, but I guess I'm just too lazy. Have you done anything exciting over your holiday weekend?

woof woof, meow meow

Happy Saturday, everybody! It's started off a sleepy Saturday for me because I had this crazy dream/nightmare about talking orbs, paranormal activity and a giant black snake. So anyway, I'm trying to wake up! I went to my pop's house yesterday and played with my good friend Reno and picked up my new bike. When I lived at Pop's, Reno was my best friend, and he was also a bed hog, so I'd end up sleeping on the floor, that way I knew he'd be comfortable in the bed!

A while back, my friend posted this video on my wall in Facebook, and it cracked me up. I still watch it every now and then for a good laugh. Ahhh, the things kids come up with!

Do you have any special weekend or Easter plans? I'm going to a fashion show later this evening, and I guess I should go figure out what I'm wearing so I'll know if I need to do laundry or not!

the cutest pictures. ever.

Seriously. I challenge you to find something cuter! I found some of these pictures over at weheartit, and I couldn't wipe that silly smile off of my face. Each picture just seemed more perfect than the last! Here are a few, in no particular order as it would be impossible to rate the cuteness!
