I've been working on getting some new prints made, and with new prints comes more to organize (and I'm kind of running out of room with my current system). I can't quite explain why making new prints gets me so giddy, BUT IT DOES! Also, just a little FYI if you're in the market for new art, I'm having a 20% off sale on ALL 8.5"x11" and 11"x17" prints in my shop this week if you use the code FEBRUARY20 during checkout!
Also, speaking of Hannah, she made this to do notebook, as if she knew exactly how bad I am at time management and procrastination. From now on I vow to keep this either by my laptop (where I tend to make most of my notes
I know I've shared a picture before of Flojo leaning headfirst into a jar of peanut butter, but I don't think I've ever tried to explain just how much she LOVES granola. Chris made two batches of granola yesterday (amazing man, right?) and it didn't go unnoticed. When Flojo eats something she thoroughly enjoys, she tends to quietly talk and squeak while she eats. It's always cute, and if you can imagine it, it's even cuter when it's echoed as she's talking and eating with her head inside a glass cookie jar filled with granola!
I love Flojo.
ReplyDeleteMe too ;)
DeleteI've been the same way about blogging lately. It's sad because I used to love blogging! I want to continue doing it but I just feel so pressured to post so frequently! + not being inspired sucks a lot. Bleh! Hopefully we'll both figure out this bloggy stuff soon!

I hope we do figure it out! I hate to just put it on hold indefinitely, but it's hard to blog with no ideas!
DeleteDitto on the blog thing. I kind of flew into a panic today cuz I lost the DIY project I had planned for Weds. and didn't have a single finished picture of it, so I felt like I had to scramble for some kind of new idea. I'm better now. I think I forgot what the heck my new year's resolution was and got caught up in the blog traffic thing again. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteAlso Hermes does the same thing with food he loves. Most frequently with kale. Little chirps in between bites. I think he wants his mirror babies to know how good it is.
Isn't it crazy how a blog post can cause so much stress?!
DeleteOh man, I only WISH Flojo would actually enjoy vegetables! I've tried giving her kale so many times because I know that so many other parrots love it. But no, she skips the kale and goes right for the bread and peanut butter. Little Glutton. And I love how parakeets have mirror buddies!
you make me want a sweet lil birdie so bad !!
ReplyDeletealso, since we just moved and i'm seeing little spots on the walls that would be perfect for one of your prints - i'm showing them to my boyfriend tonight. hopefully we can agree on a few. :)
Aw ;)
DeleteI barely have time to keep up with my own life! Keeping up with the lives of others in real time is exhausting! Nothing will squelch the enjoyment of paging through a thoughtfully written blog, however. Binge blog reading is a guilty pleasure over here, reserved for every now-and-then/every-other-week and sick days.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I know what you mean; I don't read blogs daily like I used to, but I love sitting down once a week or so and spending more time than I'd like to admit catching up on my favorite blogs!
Deletegosh she is so cute! her little face!
ReplyDeletei'm trying not to be uptight about blogging too. sometimes i feel like "oh my gosh I haven't posted in THREE DAYS" like it really matters at all. ha.
I know, I wish I could just stare at her and never stop ;)
DeleteIsn't it crazy just how much pressure blogging can put on us?! And to think blogs just started out a simple diary!
