HURRAY for 100 followers! congrats!
ReplyDeleteand i love the mask photos! how fun it would be to see people drinking coffee or filling up on gas all wearing masks! it would put a smile on my face!
When the auto shut-off didn't work on the gas pump today and spewed all over the place, I wish I had a mask so everyone wouldn't have seen me blushing!
ReplyDeleteI think you should start the trend of wearing masks on non-halloween days! I'm soooo for it!!
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on the followers!!!!!
Posey Bird and I are both delighted that you have (over) 100 followers and hope that oneday we might have a post exclaiming a similar joy! We also agree that this is a wonderful collection of masks... We do wear masks other than on halloween around this house (mr. man is a puppeteer)!

ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to a masquerade party, the kind where you have a gorgeous ball gown and a mask covered in sparklies and feathers...but I don't think those are very common these days, and if they are, then somebody needs to send me a freakin invite ;)
Congratulations on 100 followers!!
ReplyDeleteI would definately support mask wearing in public especially on Blah days.

The only problem with wearing masks (apart from poor peripheral vision) is if you walk into a bank or a convenience store. Could get very messy.
I totally agree with you! My interest in masks started with Audrey Tatou's Zorro mask in Amelie, and from then on I have been pouncing at the chance to make masks! The recent one was for my friend who joined a beauty pageant.
ReplyDeleteLove the third pic, oversized masks are awesome! :)
hahah. i dont think id be able to leave my house if people wore those masks...
ReplyDeleteperhaps id be down for those fancy mardi gras masks though.
I love masks; it makes me think of Breakfast at Tiffany or Alice in Wonderland. it is so playful and fun. I love the carnival in Venice where people wear elaborated masks; it is so mysterious. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteI love giveaway. This is a great idea.

GREAT!! I have 96, I have been hoping to hit the 100 mark. Congrats.
ReplyDeleteI also love masks. Every year I do a project with my students where we create double-sided masks: one side to display the face we show to the world, the other side to display the real face we hide on the inside. You can buy cardboard masks from the Oriental Trading company (a good place for teachers and otherwise crafty people).
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 100+ followers! :)
I want that raccoon mask. I always wanted one as a pet when I was a kid...forget dogs and cats :)
