scarf: i can't remember, jacket: american eagle, shirt: banana republic, skirt: richard chai, tights: target, booties: steve madden, clutch: vintage/thrifted, bracelets: vintage and jade from chinatown in san franciscothis is probably one of my favorite skirts, but i don't wear it that often because the chiffon is so lightweight that i feel like i'm constantly rubbing my hand over my butt to make sure it's still down; it's so light that i can't feel it's there! the clutch i love because of the different textured leather, and it was a steal at only $1. and those shoes, what's not to love about finishing off an outfit with a pair of six pound wedges? good for the calves, i'm sure.
when i run on the treadmill i find that i feel like i've been on for an hour when in fact it's only been 7 minutes thanks to boredom... UNLESS i watch a movie while i run, then 30 minutes goes by in no time. one of the more recent movies i watched was 13 going on 30. i'm prepared to lose all my street cred here, but it's one of my favorite movies, and i can never get enough 80's music. because i love that movie, and this song is in it, i've been singing this all day (and there's the title of the post)...

I think this is my favorite outfit post so far. I love all the patterns that are happening in this outfit. I also have to say that 13 going on 30 is also one of my favorite movies. I love the purple sweater with the hears the girl wears in that movie because I had one just like it when I was a kid.

ReplyDeletemy treadmill pulls the same trick on me. i think it's been an hour and i ran miles but it IS only 7 minutes. i love your movie choice ;) that's my sister's favorite movie too. haha. i tend to run to law and order svu. or my secret indulgence, nip tuck.
i wonder what it is with the 7 minute mark? all i can say is, if i wasn't able to watch a movie, i'd never make it on the treadmill!
