i really shouldn't be unfair and call these granny pants since 1. they do not have an elastic waistband, rather a zipper and hook & eye closure, 2. they don't have the crease perma-made down the front of the legs, 3. they don't smell like powdery musk, and 4. they're navy and not a pastel shade. they are polyester though, so there is that. and static. still, i think high waist pants are going to take some getting used to. to be honest, i always thought that part of thrifting was off limits until i saw
monkeyface wearing vintage high waist pants a few months ago, and voila, a whole new world of thrifting possibilities.

i really didn't plan to do another outfit post today since i swear i have other things going on in my life other than getting dressed, but i needed to get it out of the way because of some change that's going to happen, only i can't tell you what hat change will be until a few days from now. hello, vague information. until then, i hope you have a great rest of the week and weekend!

high waisted pants = super comfortable and nice that they don't slide down your ass. with that said, i am incredibly jealous and have been searching for a pair of pants like those having wanted to wear something besides jeans all the time. the search will continue and maybe until i find my pair, i will live vicariously through you and yours1

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of granny clothes, although I always feel bad referring to semi-ugly clothes as granny clothes, because my grandma actually dresses very nicely. (Possibly better than I do.) Not that your pants are ugly - they're very cute! But the granny clothes I buy - well, they are kind of ugly sometimes :)
