Sometimes I think maybe I'd like a wallpapered room in my house, but it would have to be a bathroom since I'm leery of prints and patterns. If I did any wallpaper though, I'd want it to be a large pastel pattern with flowers or leaves, and birds of course, like the first picture! So what do you think? Do you have any wallpaper in your house?
Also, I must tell you about my love of lambs. I've been begging Chris for years to let me have a donkey and a lamb, otherwise this farmland will just go to waste (that's what I tell him, at least). Well obviously I'm sans lamb and donkey, but yesterday on our way home from Culpeper we went the scenic route to see the multi-million dollar estates. Most have horses, but there was one (beautiful) farm with hundreds of sheep and cute little lambs! It was love!
How was your weekend?
That one with the deer head on it? I want it in every single room of my own house one day.
ReplyDeletePlease.
baby lambs have got to be the cutest things in the whole wide world! I love those wallpaper choices, though the deer head freaks me out a little bit. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with these.
ReplyDeleteMy grandma has the best wallpaper in one of her hallways. I love the delicate florals and soft colors. Wishing you a lovely Monday! xo

I love wallpaper. That Deer on the wall looks so REAL. It scared me for a second!
ReplyDeletei love wallpaper! i don't think i could ever have it in my house...maybe in small doses, like one room, but i really like the way it looks in the photos =]
ReplyDeletego with your bathroom idea. i love bold wallpaper in small spaces.
ReplyDeleteThat wallpaper is adorable! The only other type I would put up on my walls was if it was a MASSIVE world map :) My old house used to have wallpaper but just up top on the skirting boards (?).. it looked more 90's than vintage though.
ReplyDeletei wish is i had a home to wallpaper.
ReplyDeleteand a farm!
little lambs are the cutest.
have you ever seen a miniature donkey?
adorable.
My childhood bedroom had gorgeous vintage wallpaper in it. My parents removed four layers of wallpaper and found the 40sish paper but it had some water damage so we cut out roses from other wallpapers and covered the spots ala Fried Green Tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteI love vintage wallpaper and want to use it as envelope liners for our invites.
I love lambs, but I especially love horses and rabbits. If I ever move to the country, I will have nothing but horses and rabbits. Oh, and maybe a dog and cat or two. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, those are beautiful. So delicate and pretty, makes you want to create something just as pretty/
ReplyDeleteBeautiful selection of wallpapers!!! It makes me think ot the British wallpaper company called Osborne & Little http://www.osborneandlittle.com/collections/
ReplyDeleteTheir collection is truly amazing. At home, I have some grasscloth look a like in the living room, loyer and guest bedroom. After living for many years with white walls, I thought it was time for a change. I love flowers wallcovering but my husband would not approved even in the bathroom. In the bathroom, we used a benjamin moore in apple green color with irredescent. It is sort of metallic but with subtlety. Have a good day!:0)
i'd love to do wallpaper one day, but it's so hard to change if your decide you don't like it... i do love the first photo though, it's beautiful. i hope someday you get your lamb; i've wanted one (and chickens too!) for ages too, but with no farm land to speak of!
ReplyDeletei adore this collection. so gorgeous!
