i took a little time off from making anything new because i started to feel kind of burnt out on metal and stones and jewelry entirely, but i feel reinvigorated and have fresh new ideas i want to bring to life! here's what i've been working on the last few weeks...
since these earrings have really caught on and are currently the most popular item in my shop, i've also used the same idea to make that heart bracelet as well as a ring i still need to get photographed. i've decided that pyrite is my new favorite stone to work with, so be on the lookout for more of it!
what have you been working on lately?
I might be drooling. So fantastic!
ReplyDeleteaw, thank you ;)
DeleteDanielle, this stuff is beautiful! The stones you choose are always incredible. Where do you find them? Mineral and rock shows?
ReplyDeletethanks, hillery! i mainly go to a gem & mineral shop here where the owner mines a lot of the stones himself here in virginia.
Deletei love that bracelet.
ReplyDeleteyou'll love it even more when it shows up in your mailbox.

DeleteO.O Gorgeos. Purely gorgeous! I love every single piece. The fourth image down - the necklace - reminds me of vampires... I hope that doesn't bother you, because coming from me, it's a HUGE compliment. Just the red-dsy stone and the way the golden points are, well, pointy... Yes, red-dsy and pointy. I iz using technical termz.
ReplyDeletehahaha, your comment cracked me up!
DeleteOh wow. I love the third photo down - with the really raw looking stone! The direction you're taking your jewellery in is totally awesome.
ReplyDeleteI'm massively burnt out on jewellery making at the moment. I haven't had much time to do anything new (apart from make gifts for loved ones) recently due to flat hunting/moving faff. But my new flat has space for me to set up a proper craft area and I'm hoping that'll help me slowly get back into it!
THESE are amazing! love love love!!! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI would wear all of these pieces of jewellery! Love the 3rd one :) <3 <3
ReplyDeleteQuite A Looker
You ARE SO TALENTED!!!!! I want everything, ha!
ReplyDeleteI've been crocheting tops & shawls lately! :)
Love these! Can you teach me to be awesome like yew?
ReplyDeleteLady, those studs make me want to put more (unstretched) holes in my ears! I love them! No wonder they are so popular. I haven't been working on anything but oodles of design work for school.....and recovering from the worst stomach virus I have ever had. Third world food poisoning had nothing on this one. Hope you are well, miss our emails xo
